Program for the 4th Annual BC-ABA conference
The program for the 4th Annual BC-ABA conference is now available
here. The conference will be held March 2nd and 3rd 2012 at UBC. Early registration ends February 24th. Register on-line before February 24th to receive the early bird rate.
Our Purpose
The purposes of the society are:
- To function in British Columbia, Canada, as the liaison with,
and representative of the Association for Behavior Analysis, ABA
International.
- To advance behaviour analysis in the province of British Columbia.
BC-ABA's interests lie in basic science focusing on principles
governing human and nonhuman behaviour (i.e., the experimental
analysis of behaviour) as well as applied science focusing on
application of those principles for improvement of socially important
problems (applied behaviour analysis), and disseminating this
information to stimulate interest in and correct misunderstandings
of behaviour analysis in the general public.
- To work towards the regulation of behaviour analysis practitioners
in British Columbia.

Incorporation as a Society
The British Columbia Association for Behaviour Analysis held its first Annual General Meeting on Friday, February 29th, 2008. BC-ABA officially received a Certificate of Incorporation under the Society Act of British Columbia on April 25th, 2008.
